Vouchers are available for our Have-A-Go packages, which are ideal for someone to try out this exciting sport.

Have-A-Go packages are available with two options. you can choose between a 25 shot package, or a 50 shot package. Both are fully inclusive of everything you need to take part with no hidden extras, for a clay shooting experiences not to be missed.

You will be under the supervision of one of our experienced team, who will initially carry out a safety briefing. Following this, you will then go to an area set out specifically for these packages.

Your instructor will guide you throughout you visit, with tips on how to hit the targets. You can be assured of a memorable experience.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and are subject to our Terms and Conditions of use.

Packages are run on most of our published fixture list dates, however, you must book in advance to secure a place.

Who can take part?

Pretty much anyone can try this exciting sport, though there are one or two exceptions.

On the grounds of safety, any person who is, or is suspected of being under the influence of drink, drugs or other substances will not be allowed to take part. Our decision on this will be final.

Kids are also welcome, the only proviso is that they are physically able to hold the gun safely. We normally suggest 12 years of age, though these days kids are getting bigger sooner, so 10 years of age is possible.

Then there is the legal bit… Section 21 of the Firearms Act prohibits certain people from being in possession of a firearm.

What makes me prohibited from possessing a firearm?

Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 prohibits a person from possession of any type of firearm if they have been given a custodial sentence when convicted of a criminal offence or have received a suspended sentence.

If you have received a custodial sentence of 3 months or more, but less that 3 years, then you are prohibited for a period of 5 years from the date you are released.

If you have received a custodial sentence of 3 years or more, then you are prohibited from possessing firearms for life.

If you have been sentenced to 3 months imprisonment or more and the sentence is suspended, then you are prohibited for a period of 5 years commencing 2 days after the date of the sentence.

The prohibition may be lifted on application to the Crown Court, for advice please consult a solicitor.

 

Everyone taking part will be required to complete a declaration form that they are not a prohibited person. Please be aware it is a criminal offence to give false details on this form.

Just one final point, this is an outdoor activity in a grass field, we do shoot rain or shine, so appropriate clothing and footwear are essential. Please feel free to contact us for any further information or to purchase vouchers.
